Bar 5 chord has made me quit guitar like three times now

The neck on my 50 was fat, is this the same neck or are they saving on wood.

Why do I always buy Martin, maybe it is the funny shaped Yamaha pick guard, the plastic truss rod entrance on the headstock or that strangely shaped saddle? I feel spoiled with a D18 and a reimagined HD28. Perhaps the FG9 sounds “better” or maybe it is cheaper; something about that name on the headstock when you reach the 4000+ regions. I just love Martin and I love your channel!!

Not acoustic but always thought Hendrix was a master at playing around chord shapes. Single note lead notes but always falling back to a chord shape, in some form. Some songs are just best kept simple with chords, wether intro, outro, and between. Great lesson!

Such a gift to have these little lessons on RUclips! When I started out, I was gifted a “Sears Special” and a Mel Bay book for Christmas when I was 10! Action so high for my tiny fingers 😂, and what became a fabulous way to learn to play by ear later on. Self taught with my grandmother teaching me basic chords and old Gospel tunes when we’d visit. What I would have given for the I internet back then!! Great content🤗

Met him at the Cafe Diplomatico on College once. He was sitting alone holding his chocolate labrador puppy, (which is illegal in Ontario restaurants but HEY! he's Bruce Cockburn). The friend I was with knew him, they were neighbours. As they said hello, Cockburn looked me up and down and I said, "That's a beautiful puppy." He GLARED at me without speaking, clearly communicating, "Who the f**k are YOU to dare speak to ME?!?" I've met number of famous people, and he stands out as the most pompous asshole I've ever encountered.
